Grand Vines is the perfect place to pick up a great bottle of wine, enjoy a savory meal, and delight in featured art from a local artist. With a wine list that changes monthly, and wines to taste, enjoy by the glass, or purchase by the bottle, there is plenty of variety at Grand Vines. The staff is friendly and helpful in helping each customer choose the ideal bottle of wine, and with an array of tempting desserts beckoning behind the glass counter as you’re rung up, it’s hard to leave without at least one delicacy. Friday and Saturday nights also feature a fondue dinner, with cheese, meats, and even chocolate simmered right on your table.

Tucked back on Commercial Street, Santiam Wine Company’s unpretentious exterior belies the trove of treasures behind its doors. With wines from both local and worldly vineyards, every customer is sure to find exactly what they’re looking for, and maybe a few things they didn’t expect. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful in assisting customers, so whether it’s a bottle for yourself or a gift for someone else, you’ll be able to find the ideal selection. Santiam Wine also offers wine tastings, yet another way for wine lovers to expand their palettes and their collections.

Silver Grille isn’t so much a place to buy wine, but somewhere to savor it with a delicious meal. With monthly five course wine dinners featuring wines from a specific winery, Silver Grille is about experiencing wine with specially paired foods prepared by chef Jeff Nizleck. Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights are Italian Pasta Passport nights, with classic, authentic pasta dishes from various regions of Italy. Friday and Saturday nights are “Oregon Bounty Dinners,” a four-course meal featuring the finest ingredients from local sources. And of course, all meals should be accompanied by an appropriately excellent bottle of wine.
