There was a bit of bait and switch last week with the advertising saying that we'd find out who the mole is this week. Next week, they've packaged the big reveal in with the reunion show. Mission #1: Defusing the bomb
A briefcase, full of $50,000 in cash, is wired to a bomb. The players have to use an extremely complicated set of steps to try to defuse the bomb. If they don't defuse it within an hour, the bomb blows up the cash.
Nicole seemed to screw up the mission quite a bit. She pointed out that the map they had to use was flat, and believe it or not, the world is round. I guess a doctor doesn't have to be good at geography. Mark exhibited some moleish behavior by arguing their well thought out points against them. Despite all of the arguing, they figured out the puzzle and added $50,000 to the pot.
Mission #2: Three to Tango
The remaining players have to solve clues that correspond with tasks in Buenos Aires.
Nicole seemed to have lost her steam in this mission. She was completely laid back the whole time. Well, until she got into an argument with Jon, despite the fact that she didn't even fully comprehend the clue. He seemed to be trying to help her. Then she hung up on him.
Later she tried to cheat on a task, apparently forgetting that cameras following her around. If nothing else, Nicole has made for some good entertainment this season, although she may have actually lost it completely. She has gone from moleish behavior to downright craziness.
The person who wins the mission has the opportunity to grab a dossier on the mole, which the mole obviously doesn't want any of the real players to have. So the
mole should want to win the mission as much as the players.
Mark picked up the win for the mission, and of course, he grabs the dossier case for himself and kept $75,000 out of the pot. Mole behavior? Not necessarily.
Going into the final quiz, I was still holding onto Mark as the mole. The Internet has practically dubbed Craig the mole. Nicole seems to be the dark horse. The final quiz was 20 questions long, putting the speed of the test takers into play.
