Luckily the recap didn't go on that long. Jon had each of the players locked in a small room. He gave a key to each player; the key that opens the door is the winner. And surprisingly (at least to me) Mark, my guess at the Mole, won $420,000 of the money. But with "The Mole," we don't care so much about who the winner is as we care about
who the mole is. They're the real star of the show.

Was I completely wrong and Nicole is the mole? No, luckily for my own Internet credibility, my second choice, Craig was revealed as the mole. Craig started showing himself around week four. From then on, he came in and out of my suspicion. He didn't fool the Internet though, the ABC forums were ripe with Craig accusations.

Craig's total damage was over $100,000 on the pot. And for all of the chubby fellows out there, he also outsmarted a bunch of pretty people. Score one for the husky gentlemen of the world.

The clues this season were completely hidden. A number of clues in the credit sequence would have been impossible to figure out without recording the show and doing a frame-by-frame search of the sequence. There was also an audio artifact played in last week's episode that revealed the mole if it were played backward.

Will "The Mole" return? Signs are pointing to no at the moment. The ratings for this season haven't been very good. Fans are beginning to form "Save the Mole" groups, but the success of those groups in bringing an audience to any show has been minimal. Congratulations to both Mark and Craig on a successful run of the show.
