Big week on Big Brother this week. The house has split into two big alliances. One consists of Angie, Memphis, Michelle, and Jessie. The other is Libra, April, Ollie, and Keesha. Then there's the floaters, two of whom were on this block during tonight's eviction ceremony: Dan, Steven, Jerry, and Renny. Now the two big alliances will pick each other off while pretending to be aiming for the floaters. The "floater" phenomenon is a strange one to me. Shouldn't the floaters just combine efforts and become their own alliance? Instead, Dan has gone to Memphis' alliance and Steven has gone to Libra's alliance. In last night's episode they showed Steven trying to get Libra put up on the block. Dan should have his own alliance, it's sad to see him grovel to the chuckle-head Jessie.
Ollie and April's relationship was highlighted during the live questioning. Ollie said his father, a preacher, would approve of his relationship with April. I'd hazard a guess that his father knowing that his son and April had unprotected sex on the Internet streams wouldn't be met with applause. So note to anyone looking to save their soul: alcohol is bad, unprotected sex is A-OK. What would Jesus do, Ollie? I think Ollie's answer would be: April.
Despite Steven's big push to save himself, the house evicted him unanimously. This either proves Dan's ability to stay under the radar or the power of Jessie's alliance with the floaters. The better option would have been to get rid of Dan, who seems to be playing the game better. But lucky for us, they kept Dan in to hopefully cause some chaos down the road. Jessie continued his toolish strategy during the "goodbye" messages. Instead of saying "bye," he spent the time motivating Steven to work on his physique.
Keesha picked up Head of Household. I wonder how many of her alliance will question her loyalty this week. Nevermind I don't actually wonder. If you watched Libra's face during the last few seconds of the celebration you could easily see her switch from hating Keesha to loving her.
