"WALL-E"

"WALL-E" might be the first Pixar movie that is challenging for them to market. They have a built-in audience of youngsters who want to see anything by the "Cars" creators. The bump on this one is the fear that some parents might have with the main characters not talking. It's true, a limited vocabulary of three words and beeps and blips are the robot's limits. "WALL-E," short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class, spent hundreds of years doing his job (cleaning up the abandoned Earth). Then comes a search robot named EVE who realizes that WALL-E has found the key to the planet's future and dashes off into space to report her findings. WALL-E follows and his adventures across the galaxy begin.

"Wanted"

"Wanted" has all the elements of a good summer action movie. Angelina Jolie in skimpy clothes? Check. Guns? Check. Gravity-bending effects? Check. James McAvoy plays Wes, a 25-year-old lame office worker whose estranged father is murdered. He is soon recruited by Fox (Angelina Jolie) into a secret society called "The Fraternity." Once recruited, he develops special powers under Fox and the leader of "The Fraternity" Sloan (Morgan Freeman).

"Bloodline"

"Bloodline" is playing this weekend at Living Room Theatres in Portland. In this film, a documentary-maker pursued the conspiracy laid out partially in the "Da Vinci Code." Bruce Burgess confronts the Priory of Scion that claims to have guarded evidence of the marriage of Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ, their children and their descendants through the centuries. Check out the movie's website for additional times.
