9021-NO!

Tori Spelling, according to Nikki Finke at DeadlineHollywood, is turning down the reprising of her "90210" role. Her reasoning seems to be the pay scale that she's been offered compared to Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. Spelling has seen big success on the women's network Oxygen and the assumption is she feels she's worth the same as Doherty and Garth. I anticipate it will all get worked out, just in time for November's rating grabs.

NBC's Olympic coverage

Anyone else getting tired of hearing how NBC is trying to maintain the largest network audience ever in the history of Olympics? Or how about the amount of money they spent for the coverage ($900 MILLION)? We get it, they spent money and are going to be making a lot of money. So, NBC, continue to milk your cash cow while we try to figure out what and when we are watching your programming. It's not so clear.

Most networks understand that they have little hope of ratings the next two weeks, so don't look for any big new episodes on network TV.

Sundance brings in the green

The Sundance channel has recently given a green light to a new TV series called "Eco-Trip" that will follow an everyday product from production to disposal. Some suggestions listed in the press release include a cotton t-shirt, plastic water bottle, and a gold ring. Look for the series to air sometime in 2009.
