Lex Luthor leaves Superman's teenage lifeMichael Rosenbaum is on his way out of a little town in Kansas named Smallville. Rosenbaum has been credited as being the driving force behind the show playing a young Lex Luthor teetering on the edge of good and evil. As anyone who has seen ANY Superman content knows, Lex Luthor becomes a big villain in Superman/Clark Kent's life. Producers admit that Rosenbaum will not be a series regular in Season 8, but hints that he might be making appearances again in the future. So with Lex out of the picture, who will young Superman battle? The producers have confirmed that they will bring in Doomsday from the Superman mythology and a more secret female villain.
"Boston Legal" fate up to the jury now
Fans of "Boston Legal" are mounting their attacks on ABC to save their show. It seems to be a recurring theme with shows on the bubble. But "Boston Legal" has been moved around so much that it's hard for the audience to follow. The cast of "Boston Legal" had a fun exchange mocking their own scheduling problems with a witty back and forth about a "meeting" that seems to be moving to different days and times. If you're looking for "Boston Legal," check them out Wednesdays (for now) at 10 p.m. (for now).
Paula Abdul still wacky
Drunk? High? Just gone nuts completely? So many accusations surround Paula Abdul's blunder on last week's American Idol Wednesday show. If you've somehow been under a rock for the past week, Abdul reviewed two songs for Jason Castro. The problem? Castro had only sung one. Ryan Seacrest saved her in the moment, but the aftermath rolled throughout last week. Beyond the accusations that Abdul is chemically altered, one other accusation is that "American Idol" is rigged. The official explanation is that the judges watch the non-live rehearsal shows and take notes on their performance. Apparently Paula read the notes that she took prior to Jason singing. The ramifications of having notes on a rehearsal and using it during the live broadcast are still up in the air. What if someone has a really good or really bad rehearsal and the judge just reads the sheet of paper in front of them? Randy Jackson's notes are probably different variations of "DAWG! You are MOLTEN HOT LAVA." Paula uses doodles with various forms of "I love you for the person you are." And Simon's notes simply say "Americans are idiots." Idol nerds, don't be swayed by the judges.
