Ebert and Roeper no longer at the movies"At the Movies with Ebert and Roeper" will no longer include Ebert or Roeper. They both released statements saying they will not return to the movie review TV series that bares their name. Ebert was quick to defend his and Siskel's estate ownership of the "two thumbs up" trademark. With his recent ailments, he might be retiring from TV and just continuing his work at the Chicago Sun-Times. Roeper, however, already has plans in the works that he is not able to talk about yet. Disney attempted a contract renewal with Roeper, but couldn't come to an agreement.
Here's my advice to Disney, put Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino in the seats. Smith was a fantastic guest host and Tarantino loves movies almost as much as he loves Uma Thurman's feet. You can count me in to watch "At the Movies with Smith and Tarantino."
Gil Grissom tired of C.S.I-ing
William Petersen has decided to call it quits on the original C.S.I series. CBS is reportedly looking for "an actor of stature" to replace his character, Gil Grissom, as the head of the investigation unit. The original cast is slimming down even more. Other original leads, Gary Dourdan and Jorja Fox, have also exited. Can C.S.I survive without Grissom? We'll see.
Janice Dickinson moves in
Is there a scarier thought? Imagine you are a ditzy model thinking that you will use Janice Dickinson's name and dreams of running a successful modeling agency to get your career off the ground. Now imagine your surprise when you realize that not only do you have to deal with Dickinson on a daily basis with the cameras rolling, you also have to live with her. In the next season of "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" Janice moves in with models to help mother them.
"Janice is a vibrant, tough-minded entrepreneur and our audience loves her unique combination of candor and outrageousness," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President of Development and Programming, Oxygen. "With Janice under the same roof as her models, season four promises even more of the great entertainment that has made the show such a success."
"The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" returns to Oxygen on August 26 at 10 p.m.
