New shows out this week
"Dancing with the Stars" is back this week. Adam Corolla is participating and I have to wonder if Jimmy Kimmel won a bet. Nothing says "The Man Show" like dancing a zesty mambo. "Dancing with the Stars" is in its sixth season of bringing B-list celebrities to the dance floor. Check it out on ABC, Mondays at 8 p.m.
ABC is on a roll for reality TV; the latest edition of "The Bachelor" starts right after "Dancing with the Stars." Appropriately titled "London Calling" -- a British rich guy who can't find a woman without the help of a long drawn out process broadcasted on national TV. Let's not forget it'll be followed by a reunion show when things don't really go the way he was expecting it. You can catch "The Bachelor" at 9 p.m., Mondays on CBS.
CBS has shows returning this week after their hiatus. In fact they are airing a nice chunk of new episodes on Monday. "The Big Bang Theory" at 8 p.m., followed by "How I Met Your Mother" at 8:30 p.m., then "Two and Half Men" at 9 p.m., and "The New Adventures of Old Christine" at 9:30pm.
Tucker Carlson replaced
Where will his signature bow tie end up? Carlson was once the star of "Crossfire" on CNN. When "Crossfire" was taken off the CNN schedule, Carlson moved to MSNBC where he was given an early evening news program all by his lonesome. But after low ratings, MSNBC is planning to replace that spot with White House coverage featuring David Gregory, the chief White House correspondent of NBC News. You may have seen David Gregory stand in for Matt Lauer on the "Today" show.
