Cooking in Hell
FOX has signed Gordon Ramsay onto the network for a few more years. The deal will keep Chef Ramsay in "Hell's Kitchen" for two more seasons and another season of "Kitchen Nightmares." On top of that, there's an option for a special or another series. Both of Ramsay's current two shows are fun, so it'll be interesting to see what Ramsay and FOX does into the future. "Kitchen Nightmares" currently airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on FOX.
'SNL' premieres
Tina Fey returned to "SNL" and gave one of her better performances. The purpose of her return was to step in as Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, but she returned to the Weekend Update desk as well.
Creative Emmys awards
"John Adams" topped the list of Emmy Awards with eight wins. HBO, the network behind the Adams biopic, brought in a total of 16 wins. ABC and PBS each brought in nine; CBS with eight; NBC with six; AMC and Showtime with five; FOX with three, Bravo, Cartoon Network and Sci Fi Channel with two; and The CW, Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, FX Networks, and National Geographic Channel with one each.
