Get in the act with SRT
Salem Repertory Theatre will offer three free workshops this season as part of their mission to provide educational outreach to the community. The first workshop was held on October 27 and covered the art of theatrical swordplay. Others are set for next year and include an acting seminar, led by Susan Coromel and a directing master class, led by David Janoviak. Coromel regularly performs in SRT shows and teaches theatre classes at Willamette University. Janoviak is Co-Artistic Director and founding member of SRT and teaches theatre at Western Oregon University. Both workshops are free. The acting workshop is open to all ages. To participate in the directing workshop you must be at least 16 years of age. Workshops are only open to 20 participants and pre-registration is recommended. For information call (503) 302-8907.
