Salem Saturday Market officially opens May 3, but this year organizers are adding a special "preview" during the month of April.
According to their Web site, "Salem area residents
can buy the best in locally grown plants, veggie starts, tubers and bulbs before the full Saturday Market begins.
The preview market will be located in the same place -- at the corner of Summer & Marion Streets NE, 3 blocks north of the State Capitol, and occur at the same time, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday in April.
This April preview, unlike the regular Saturday Market will feature just plants, no produce or crafts.
