Christmas Day brings us some alien fighting, a little bit of Nessy, and a great debate.

"Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem"

The first edition of the Alien Vs Predator remake did so well that it warranted a follow-up. This time the war is brought to a small Colorado town where residents are forced to band together to survive. "24" fans will recognize the leading lady, Reiko Aylesworth, as Michelle. If you're not a "24" fan, you probably won't recognize anyone.

"The Great Debaters"

This film is based on the life of Melvin B. Tolson, who was a professor at an all-black college in Texas.

In 1935 he inspired students to create a debate team and led them to challenge Harvard University at the national level. Academy Award winners Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker lead the cast. Denzel Washington also directs.

"The Water Horse"

Angus, a Scottish boy, finds a strange looking egg and takes it home. When it cracks, he finds himself face to face with a unique, magical creature: the mythical water horse. It's being called the "E.T." of this generation.

"P.S. I Love You"

Holly Kennedy has everything going for her. She's married to the love of her life, a passionate Irishman named Gerry. But when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it sends Holly to a very dark place emotionally.

The only one who could've helped her out of the funk is the person who is no longer there. Luckily for Holly, Gerry had the forethought to write a series of letters that will help her to get her life back on track.
