"First Sunday"

Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan star in this comedy as best friends and petty criminals. Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Morgan) must pay a $17,000 debt so that Durell's ex can continue to live in the area with their son. If they don't come up with the money, his son will be out of reach. They concoct a plan to rob their neighborhood church, which has been touting big fundraising numbers. Instead of scoring big, they end up spending the night with members of the church's congregation trying to figure out who robbed the church before they could get there. Chi McBride, Katt Williams co-star. It is rated PG-13 and is playing at Regal Lancaster Mall Stadium 11.

"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie"

Three dinner theatre pirates (Ellio, Sedgewick, and George) are transported back to the 17th Century to become real heroes. The movie features many of the characters from previous VeggieTales movies, but this is the first VeggieTales movie to be distributed by a major Hollywood studio. (Universal, in this case.) The film is rated G and is playing at Regal Lancaster Mall Stadium 11.

"In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale"

A man named Farmer sets out on a rescue mission to save his kidnapped wife and avenge his son's death. The antagonists are "Krugs," a race of animal/fighters who are controlled by an evil warlord Gallian. Jason Statham stars as Farmer and Ray Liotta as Gallian. The cast includes many popular names, including Leelee Sobieski, John Rhys-Davies, Ron Perlman, Claire Forlani, Kristanna Loken, Matthew Lillard, and Burt Reynolds. Despite the cast, director Uwe Boll has made a bad name for himself with critics and video game fans alike. This film, fashioned after the Microsoft video game "Dungeon Siege" is Boll's fourth consecutive attempt at making a successful video game into a successful movie. He's got five more adaptations on his plate for later release, so even if this movies crashes Boll fans will have more to look forward to.
