Chemeketa Community College professor Lee Jacobson will share information on Chemeketa's "Best of Europe - 2008" custom travel tour scheduled for this summer, at a series of free public meetings during the month of February. The 15-day tour includes excursions to Italy, Austria, Bavaria, Switzerland, and France. A 5-day tour extension is available, which highlights special experiences in Paris and London. Professor Jacobson has planned and led 16 fully escorted group travel excursions to Europe for Chemeketa Community College since 1989. At these sessions he will share his insights about group travel, along with a selection of high quality color images of many of the most beautiful and unique locations that Europe has to offer.
Jacobson says that he strives for all his tours to be comfortably paced and well-planned, with free time provided on tour to allow you to relax.

The first meeting is February 5 at West Salem High School in the Titan Room at 7 p.m. West Salem High School is located at 1776 Titan Dr. NW. February 7 the meeting will be held at Chemeketa Community College in Building Three, Room 104 at 7 p.m. A Saturday session will be held in Salem Public Library's Plaza Room on February 9 at 2 p.m. The final session is on February 13 at Judson Middle School at 7 p.m. Judson Middle School is located at 4512 Jones Road.

Additional information about the "Best of Europe" travel experience is available at bestofeuropetour.org, or by contacting Professor Jacobson by phone at (503) 399-6046.
