Switching to weekly meetings on July 18th so we can have some harvesting time in the light February-November at 6:30 pm at the apothecary.
A light dinner will be served. Drop ins welcome. Sliding scale, $5.00 to $20.00 per week suggested.

July-August 2013–Soothing the Spirit: nervines and energetic healing
Study nervine and antispasmodic herbs. Study the nervous system and special senses. Learn about the safe and inexpensive sleep and mood helpers. Learn to send plant spirit medicine.
September-October.2013–The Heart of Herbal Medicine: digging the roots.
Learn about herbs for promoting circulatory and heart health. Learn how to harvest and prepare roots and barks.
Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food: kitchen herbalism.
November 2013–Beauty Is Not Skin Deep: herbal skin care, inside and out
Learn about antiseptic and vulnerary herbs. Learn about herbal skin care and study functions of the skin. Make all of the preparations and enjoy an herbal facial.
First Saturday of December, gathering the greens and holiday party!
February 2014–Strong and Sexy: skeletal and muscular herbs
Study the skeletal and muscular systems. Massage basics and Acuyoga.
Botanica Erotica: make a soothing massage oil, an aphrodisiac liqueur and other sensuous goodies.
March-April 2014–Pep In Your Step: spring tonics, alteratives and adaptogens.
Study tonic herbs, alterative herbs and adaptogens. Study the Endocrine and lymphatic systems. Make spring tonics.
May-June 2014–Maiden, Mother, Crone: herbs for women
Learn about safe and gentle herbal helps for every phase of a women’s life. Study the female reproductive system. Study emmenagouge herbs.Make women’s energy balls, a women’s tonic and a breast massage salve.
July-August 2014–”Guy-necology”: herbs for men
Learn about safe and gentle herbal helps for every phase of a man’s life. Study the male reproductive system.

September-October 2014–Liver, Laugh, Love: caring for yourself and those you love
Study the liver and gall bladder. Learn about hepatic herbs and elimination therapy. Herbal care for the sensitive ones in our lives. Divise specialized formulas.
November 2014–Wintering In: preparing for winter.
Study the immune system and respiratory system. Study demulcent and expectorant herbs.
Make herbal cold and flu prevention and remedies.
