Diverse acts grace state fair’s “Big Shows” stage

The Oregon State Fair is coming to the state fairgrounds Friday, August 24 to Monday, August 3 with an eclectic list of “big shows” including pop-rock singer-songwriters Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw on August 24, former “Eagles” guitarist and “Rocky Mountain Way” songwriter Joe Walsh on August 25, comedian Jeff Dunham on August 31, MTV regulars Demi Lovato and Hot Chelle Rae on September 1, and country upstart Jake Owen on September 3.

Tickets range from $20 (the cheapest Jake Owen ticket) to $60 (the best seat at the Dunham show) and can be purchased at OregonStateFair.org or by calling (877) 840-0457.

With park admission ($7 advance, $11 gate), the state fair also includes countless free concerts and shows, many by Salem-area performers, including rock band The Phamous Phaces and country act Showdown at various times and dates at the KOIN 6 stage.
